this has been very hard for me. she was my first pet of my own and i’ve never felt such love for such a little creature. she was really one of my best lil pals and she got me through such tough times with her lil kisses and cuddles and i’m going to miss her so so so much.
her heart had gotten big and they believe there could have been some cancer hiding somewhere. she’d been sick for a few months but the last two weeks she was looking happy and healthy for the first time in a while, but i suppose she was just fighting.
we buried her in the backyard with all the dandelions she loved to eat. any recommendations for how you have dealt with this kind of grief, feel good movies or shows or activities, etc, are welcome.

I think just talking it one day at a time will help. surround yourself with fresh air and things you both enjoyed doing together! maybe make a dandelion flower crown and make a small gravesite. and go through pictures and videos so you can make a album🫰🏾✨

Awww. I am so sorry. She was colored like ours who started off all black and ended up grey with black points.
You have our condolences. Losing a bun is such a deep and painful loss. Often made worse by ignorant muggles who aren’t worthy of rabbit love. Your loss is real and awful. So sorry to hear of this..It happened to my best lil man of 8 years..I lost him last June..I was devastated for well over 6 months..His site is right near my back door swing..so I visit him all the time .

I’m very sorry. Losing a pet is so so tough because they’re like family members. Just try to remember all the good times you had. You loved her and gave her a good life, which she was so thankful for. It’s okay to grieve and cry, but try to keep in mind that she was happy with you and in her final days she was with the person she loved most.
