Hello all! I have two buns, one of which has started sneezing quite viciously. The sneezing attacks appear to be random (she seems to be cleaning herself but I don’t know whether that’s a cause or result of the sneezing), and other than during the sneezing attack, she doesn’t seem to be very bothered by it. She’s eating and drinking normally, flopping and laying around like usual, and last time we went to the vet, they didn’t find any sicknesses or anything.
Should I schedule another vet appointment or wait until they have their regular check-up (which is also not too long from now)? The other bun comes over to clean and groom after the sneezes, just like when my bun isn’t sneezing so it seems to be harmless but it sounds so vicious and I am not sure what is good for my bun.

Clean their homes like a deep clean
It could be dust from the straw? One of my buns get sneeze attacks when he eats hay from the feeder so we had to drill holes for the small dust and shakes to fall through.
Update: we’ve been to the vet, and she could also not find anything, asked if she’s had this often, and I told her I checked for a runny nose or anything, the vet couldn’t find any wetness in or around her nose or paws, listened to her lungs twice and said they were “extremely clean” so we got some medicine to see if it works but it’s not a bacterial infection :))
Very happy my bun didn’t catch any sickness but I’m hoping the meds will work because it mostly just sounds very sad to me.
I clean their home regularly, vacuuming the carpet in the pen and the inside of their housing to remove all little bits of hay and straw (and poops lol) and hairs, so it’s not like I don’t clean enough, that’s a good thing to hear at least.
It’s not fun for rabbits but it is so cute to see them sneeze. It shows we are not all that different.
