I recently took in this bunny I found outside and she’s quickly become my best friend! 🤍 read more below!

I recently found this sweet baby outside! She was out there for hours and I finally realized she may be a pet bunny so I took her in. No luck finding the owners so I’ve decided to keep her (him? Idk yet lol). I named her Bun-Bun and I’ve already grown so close with her in the last 2 weeks. She is trusting me more now and will come to my lap and lick me and let me pet her. I’m so happy to have her!!

Yay!! Congrats on your new addition. Shes adorable

  4. Congrats and many cudos for taking her in 🙂 some helpful recommendations assuming you’re a first time bunny owner is that they need a lot of space, and if they can free roam in your house that would be best. If you do have to have a space for them to go into while you’re not home or asleep or something I’d try to make it bigger than what you have pictured. Something around 4feet x 5feet I think is a good compromise. Give them lots and lots of hay and some fresh green. Cilantro or parsley, bell pepper, bok choy, and Swiss chard are some of my buns favorites. Other than that make sure you love them, give them attention, and enjoy your time together 😉🥰

My little bun was found outside as well.

He has been with me for over 2 years and has been the absolute greatest addition to my life. I tell him he is my little Angel Bun.

Congratulations! Bunnies are the best little companions. They find a way to make you giggle every day.

Congratulations on your new friend. Since it looks like she/he isn’t going anywhere, you will definitely want to increase the size of their cage. An xpen setup would be ideal.

Always do your research before feeding them new foods. Avoid anything with seeds and nuts in it or any added sugar.
They have very sensitive digestive systems.

You should look around your area for rabbit savy vets and probably get her/him in sooner rather than later for a checkup and find out the sex and if they have been fixed. Also, it’s just good to have a vet on hand for any emergency that should pop up.

This sub is full of knowledgeable rabbit parents, so any questions you may have you can ask here and will more than likely get some helpful information. Good luck with your new friend.

    Such a cute fluff

That’s great! She’s definitely not a wild bun. Too many people abandon their domestic rabbits after finding out how much work they are. It’s great to see that one found a good home!
