Your dear Mari is doing what’s called the ‘fish flop’. She’s happy and relaxed and will sometimes sleep like this with one eye open. It scared the life out of me when I first saw my Harry do this and when any of my bunnies do this next to me I feel privileged because I know they trust me. Trust is a big deal for a bunny. Mari is happy in your presence 😊

My bun is constantly in a fish flop & my heart sinks about 100 times a week.

There were many times when I got my bun Penny that whenever she was flopped like this I would check to see if she was breathing. Especially because I lost a few some early on 😞
