Help determining breed?

Hi! I adopted this rabbit (who I renamed Raymond) about 2 weeks ago from someone who couldn’t take care of him anymore. He is my first rabbit! All I know is he is 4 years old and the previous owner mentioned he is probably overweight. If anyone could pinpoint his breed that would be awesome. Thanks!

They’re gorgeous! Probably a mini lop is my best guess, or some kind of lop mix, I think they look too big and elongated to be a holland dwarf lop, but it’s hard to tell without knowing the weight

  2. Note: even if your rabbit identically matches the described characteristics of some pure breed, you most likely have a mix of several breeds. Most house rabbits nowadays are quite mixed. Luckily, all that matters for good care is that he’s adorable and you love him. Feeding instructions, etc. are pretty universal and just depend on age and size. Some breeds are more prone to certain medical conditions but regular vet checkups will take care of that regardless.

If you don’t know, you’re not going to know, until someone makes ancestry.com or 23&me for bunnies.
