Is this normal?

I’m spending time with Bingo on the back porch for the first time this year and he keeps doing this. Is this anything to be concerned about?

Is anything stuck in the teefs?
    What gorgeous bun and mouf

  2. This cuteness is not normal!! A 100%!!! Belief me …

  3. Her0zify

Looks like the bun is licking its lips/teeth. Could be leftover food flavor on the mouf or teeth. Could be dry mouth with them big ol’ nostrils sucking in all that air.
    Could be grooming it’s mouth.

Nothing concerning that I see. My bun used to do it after eating or just because.

It can also mean “pet me”, he is eyeing you up real nice, standing on two feet and everything. Check teeth and mouth though ❤️

  5. berlinbunny-

Is he breathing with his mouth open? Are his teeth ok?

  6. ZiOnIsNeXtLeBrOn

No. He is unhinged and will smother you in your sleep.

  7. Aspecs21

I think he’s hot. Is it dry or hot outside where you are? You should take him inside and get him some water.

  8. SlycheeASMR

Absolutely not normal. This bun is exerting high levels of cute. Share more videos immediately to help.

No, please watch frame by frame, there is something white peaking on the right side of his bottom teeth, and there should be nothing there!

My dog does this when she has hair in her mouth/stuck on her tongue. Maybe that’s what’s happening.

I’d do a mouth and teeth check to see if there’s anything stuck. If it keeps up and this is a new behavior I’d send the video to your vet 🙂

My mom thinks it’s him tasting the air, and since he stopped as soon as I took him back inside, I think that’s it. Thanks for the comments and upvotes everyone 😁

  13. HunBunYum

I need to see more of this adorable little floof!

  14. Princeoplecs

Id go with cleaning his chin, likely some leftovers in there lol.

  15. I think this is a form of grooming. I have heard that some rabbits with a bit more assertive personalities do this licking air or themselves or the floor etc to mean “I love you and I’d groom you if it weren’t beneath me”

Edit:wait didn’t read your info clearly, he’s just tasting the air if he never does it inside before. What I described is usually when the bunny is just getting petted or just being their everyday self

Bingo is the cutest name for the cutest little guy omg I love him

  17. pandoras_boxy

Might be an itch the tiny paws can’t reach

Check teeth for excess length or grinding to indicate pain, but otherwise seems like a classic case of smolboi adorabilus. Common symptoms include standing on two fluffy footies, MOUF display, tongue flicc, and fuzz.

Not to be over dramatic or anything but I’d sell my soul in order to touch his fluffy chest.

  20. Acceptable-World-175

One of mine does this sometimes, maybe he has an itch? 🤔

  21. Manonicooluni

Not normal your bunny’s weird lol right cute

  22. UnredeemedRevenant

“Hooman, why are you not booping my snoot?” 🐰🥺

  23. star-sprinkles

my bunny does that sometimes if a fuzzy gets in her nostril or on her nose and sneezing doesn’t work.

  24. carma1129

She wants to groom someone or some-bun, maybe? Lol mine starts flicking her tongue like crazy when she wants to give me kisses and groom me. 🥰😍

  25. kevlarbuns

I’m going to need a few dozen more videos of this exquisite bun just to be sure.

  26. Linus-doesnt

Normal to be this cute? No. Not normal.

  27. RoughCharii

He is salivating thinking of the tasty human meat

  28. On an unrelated note what gorgeous colouring ❤️

  29. DildoHospice

Yeah. Just be happy if you’re able to leave a beer unattended for 5 minutes without it getting knocked over and robbed. Damn rabbit used to rob my beer and then go bully two dogs. Took their food so many times my Sheltie got stuck in his cage retaliating. My rabbit was not normal. Like beef jerky, pepperoni and whatever was in my dogs bowl. I’m not sure why but not dogs scared the hell out of him. Wtf is in them that scares a carnivorous rabbit?
