this is why we can have nice things ;A; (it’s my fault tho)
i decided to try these foam mats so she more comfy but i guys it’s the best chew toy now 🥲. SHE HAS DO MANY OTHER THINGS TO CHEW ON PLS. whatever she cute ig. ( i know it’s messy shhhh)
That literally looks like my bun’s cage as I was struggling to get the right setup for him in the beginning. Aleays a mess. Some things gnawed away, others left untouched. Don’t worry! You’ll find what works and what doesn’t for your bunny.

…my bun is free roaming. He is truly able to connect ‘action’ to ‘consequence’. I am *certain* h I no more intelligent than other buns. Perhaps, giving him range would provide less destruction…? Uncertain of your parameters.
Bunno also learned from doggo (doggo not a big fan of bunno) how to use doggo-door for poops and pees. If I can do it, so can anyone else in this world!

My bun loves to chew on these foam mats too. And any carpet or surface I put down. They have 28732893423 toys but no, only want to chew the stuff mama doesn’t want us to chew. D: waaah

Have you tried putting down some old bath towels?
I got a few mismatched old towels from the thrift store so I don’t care how many holes my bun puts in them. He loves to sploot on them 😅

I got my bunny little rugs and she loves them and sleeps on them and she chews her favorite one for some reason

Honestly I’ve found that my bunnies don’t care for toys. They are interested in the things that I am interested in. For example charging cords, several pairs of apple headphones (I went to AirPods after being fed up lol), basically anything else other than toys. I will say though my buns prefer plushies and teddy bears so that’s what I give them for enrichment and they don’t destroy them

I’m sorry D: in my set up I put a Ruggable and in another makeshift set up I put a large thick sheet on top of a tarp. C&C grids line their area so it helps secure the rug somewhat. On top of that I’ll use plain cardboard to line other areas (be sure they don’t eat too much of that). Bunnies still pick at the rug but not as much 😅

Be careful not to let him chew those brown rubber mats if you think he’s ingesting any of it. Can cause blockage in his gut, which would lead to death.

FOR WHAT REASON DO THEY ACT LIKE RODENTS SOMETIMES – I swear I get so mad and my bun just doesn’t care and goes about her day back to chewing. Like I’m sorry your tummy is so delicate from too much fruit but we can eat the walk, paint, fabric, plastic, the fricken carpet, My life savings, my soul. Everything is okay to chew on

😂 well this answers my questions about how effective these mats are! Bun on a mission! And she has such a lovely hourglass shape in the second pic!
