my bunny has been standing & acting off like this for a couple hours now and he’s constantly tilting his head to one side, won’t eat anything either. can anyone assist me with what this could possibly be?

Leads to head tilt, a permanent disability for rabbits.
Go to CVS or Walmart (or similar), get a small bottle of mineral oil and some type of dropper.
Suck up oil into dropper, put 3-4 in bunnies ears (both to be safe). Ear mites will suffocate and rot where they belong.
If your bun doesn’t eat after, go to petsmart (or similar) and pick up critical care and a food syringe. Try to get it to eat it.
If condition doesn’t improve, go to vet asap because GI stasis will kill bunnies very fast if they don’t eat.
Source: fostered many buns and stopped many threats of head tilt with the above combo wombo
Edit: Hope your bun has a speedy recovery!

Head tilt.
Take them to an Emergency vet as soon as possible
Two common causes: E.c. a fungal infection that damages some neurological connections, the kidneys and the eyes. It’s treatable but Will most likely stat with the Rabbit for Life and can lead to death of left unchecked
Inner ear infection and subsequent inflammation, relatively common in lop eared bunnies.
The lack of eating could be due to Vertigo linked ti the head tilt
ID-less
Vets immediately, this probably EC and should be treated as such. This is an emergency, if you don’t treat the head tilt now they will likely be unable to recover

oh what a sweetheart! if your bunny ever stops eating for a prolonged period you should take them to the vet, as they have very delicate digestive systems. as for his unusual posture, others have already brought up head tilt. when this happened to one of my rabbits, he became very quickly very ill. it’s certainly something to take seriously. the vet suspected e cunniculi, although they didn’t have time to check. is your bunny showing any other signs, e.g. losing balance?
his companion also has head tilt and is (as far as we or the vets can see) a very happy, healthy bunny apart from this. I hope your little bun is ok but I would definitely take him to the emergency vet to be on the safe side. are you able to get him to a vet?

That’s a head tilt. She needs to go to the vet or emergency vet immediately. Time is very important right now. Here are some links.
Head tilt is the proper terminology and the vet will know what you’re talking about.
I believe it might be wryneck. I could be wrong, check with a vet. Feel better cute 🥺

Don’t even waste time reading comments, vet.
My Pompo died of a neurological event due to age, from one minute to another. Literally, one moment he was hopping around as usual, ten seconds later, seizures. Vet. It led into generalized weakness and being 2 days bedridden followed by death. He died sleeping in his childhood craddle, the vet recommended for him to be at home instead of having him at the vet. If there’s something bunnies are great at, it’s at hiding being ill until things are way too advanced.
