I love the floppy ears, but don’t mind him he’s really jumpy and aggressive today and I don’t know why

I think they put the ears forward so they can get scritches behind the ears, and they put the paws forward to rest the head on them.

I believe it’s a defence mechanism because they can’t see from that angle

The bow stance where they put their head down on their paws is them asking for pets or enjoying pets. They will do that to each other if you have multiple rabbits.

The cheek/ear thing, I think, is just an involuntary reflex. Stroking their ears makes them lay back down. I always pet them by stoking their ears down and then rubbing one cheek, then the other to get their ears to stand up one at a time and then stroke them down again. I think it’s funny.

My buns have a reflex when I pet their cheeks they stretch their foot out and stretch out their toes so I can pet both their cheek and foot at the same time. (My one bun wants to keep the facade that he hates being touches on the paws, but if it’s a cheek massage and his paw just so HAPPENS to be there, it’s fine) They love it. It kind of reminds me of dogs when they get scritched and their leg starts moving uncontrollably. It’s so cute. They just love it 😀

As for the ears it could be a reflex, or could want scritches behind the ears. I like how he caught himself melting into the pets and was like “wait, can’t show hooman my weakness”. Lol. Adorables. ^^
