Is this cause for concern?

So for the past week and a half I’ve noticed some discharge coming from my rabbit Chappie’s nose. Earlier this week I took him to my vet and my vet told me he most likely has an upper respiratory infection that supposedly will never go away and I’ll have to treat it every few months. He claimed it was from being around other rabbits but my rabbit has never met another rabbit ever since I adopted him 5 years ago. I tried to explain to him my rabbit has never been in contact but he didn’t seem to believe me lol. The only cause I believe is he started getting the discharge after I took him outside for some play. I’m just wondering if there’s a chance my vet may have misdiagnosed him? I’m wondering if it’s snuffles but he hasn’t had any symptoms other than the discharge. No sneezing, wheezing, or anything. He’s eating normally, active, drinking water, etc. I’ve only managed to catch the discharge about 3 times. The first it was green and the last two times it’s white. I’m not sure if it’s frequent and he’s just cleaning it well but I did manage to get a good picture of it. My vet did give him an injection but he didn’t tell me the name of the medication and on the veterinary sheet he wrote the name in very hard to read cursive lol. He said the medication would last for two weeks and it was given this Tuesday but he’s still getting discharge so I’m doubting the effectiveness. Any advice or tips are appreciated.

take him to another vets for a second opinion and make sure they are rabbit savvy. you can ask for tests to be done to rule stuff out. snuffles is caused by pasteurellois which naturally lives in rabbits and unfortunately sometimes it’ll cause problems (obviously not diagnosing snuffles). but nasal discharge can be caused by a few other things. with rabbits it’s always best to get things checked instead of leaving it to see if it gets better. good luck and i hope little man feels better ❤️
