noticed my baby was acting lethargic and standoffish yesterday, but chocked it up to him being mad about cage cleaning day. this morning he barely ate and his poos were smaller than normal, so we took him into the vet. prognosis seems to be good, but we’re not out of the woods yet. please keep him in your thoughts 🩷

UPDATE: thank you all for the well wishes, I truly appreciate it. they think he has an infection that is causing GI stasis, so they’re starting him on antibiotics and running some tests and keeping him overnight. we’re worried of course, but everything seems to be going well, it’s just a question of how long it will take him to feel better. I truly appreciate this community so much. he’s my first bunny and we only adopted him a few months ago, so it’s my first experience with this. seeing all your posts and comments has been so helpful and I’m truly so appreciative 🩷
