The thing that works with me is no hay in the litterbox, cleaning the cage of hay everytime i have the change, brushing everyday or keeping the fur extra short. Hope this helps!

How often are you changing her litterbox and what do you put in it?

I use the absorbent kind of litter. Helps with odour. Its a bit more pricy but I don’t want my bun to be eating peed on hay.

Omg I have the same issue with my French angora!! She esp gets it all around her chest and she rarely let’s me brush it out of her lol. I’ve just been brushing more and I started using a bag for her hay.

I always trimmed hair on my angora bun’s butt a bit. It helps.

I would try using a normal litter box that has either a pee pad (or without it) with paper bedding on top, or straw bedding (like eucalyptus straw bedding) and have a hay bag for the hay, could help 🙂

I put a layer of pine pellets on the bottom of the litter box, then a small layer of Carefresh then eventually a layer of hay takes over. I have a white Lionhead and her hocks are not pee stained. I have 2 buns that share a large litterbox and I change it 2x a week. The pine pellets really help absorb urine and the smell.

For the urine staining, cleaning the litter every day should help (imo this is what you should be doing anyways!)

I give my girl a bunzillian (shave her rear) every month, and brush her once a week. I don’t change the litter everyday, but twice a day I take their older hay and put it down on top of their poops so I can also monitor poops. A hay bag helped heaps(temu has them for cheap) but yeh, angoras amiright haha

I think you should trim your baby with a mix of clippers and scissors
