(Mind the language barrier, pls.) Rabbits have two sets of incisors in their upper jaw, the second set (~peg teeth) is behind the first one and usually not directly visible. In this picture it looks like some malocclusion, meaning the teeth are off their usual position. Your vet will hopefully look at your buns teeth, maybe grind down the ~peg teeth a bit, if deemed necessary, and get 4 x-rays of the jaws (upper, lower, left and right) to see if the molars stand correctly or if there is inflammation. They will probably ask about your buns diet and other symptoms (pains, sneezing, tearing eyes, stomach aches/stasis, diarrhea). *Obligatory reminder to please check if his vaccines are up to date 🙂

    Good luck 🙂

Like others say, they look overgrown. Hope the vet is able to help, good luck !

Rabbits need to chew on things to maintain their teeth. Some woodblocks from pet supplies are good, (should be natural, unstained, uncolored wood, so no painted or dyed wood toys).

At this point it is looking as though the teeth have overgrown to the point that you cannot fix this at home. Take your rabbit to the vet and they will grind the teeth down for your bun.

My rabbit, Jiji, has teeth issues and I take him in every six months so he isn’t in any pain whatsoever. If the teeth continue to grow, not only will your rabbits teeth be causing your bun a lot of pain it will also likely cause some cuts in the rabbits mouth that can become infected.

Edit: sorry I just saw that you already have an appointment scheduled for your bun I hadn’t seen it when I was first commenting. Leaving the vet recommendation though for future people with the same question.

Overgrown. Need filing down. Provide plenty to chew on.
