Slowly he will get used to it, however holding him like folding his legs would make him more scared. Look up the best way to hold a rabbit and he will be more comfortable
Bunnies generally don’t like to be picked up because whenever they get that high, it makes them think of getting captured by a bird of prey.
But if you ever have to pick up your baby, make sure to support his bun-bum.
Try using different methods to get him in his cage. (Like treats or if he likes the sound of you refilling his hay). They already hate being picked up by nature so if you are doing that to put him in his cage which he probably doesn’t want to go back into sometimes, he will also associate it with that. Also, if he hates/is afraid of everything from my understanding, he may not be comfortable in his environment. Pick them up when absolutely necessary/as little as possible & always give him lots of support under his bum.
They all do.. have to be extremely careful if. And when u do… they have very fragile bones etc etc

Oh my goodness he’s a cute floof what is he? They like to feel their feet supported. I either carry mine up against me with my hand under her bum or flipped over on her back holding her scruff so if she kicks out I won’t drop her.
Avoid picking him up if you can (treat like a last resort type of thing) and use treats to coax/shepard them in. I do this with our 3 buns and they get it now and also it’s a chance to practice recall. It’s taken alot of patience, trust and time you’ll be onto a winner 😊 I found with my girl bun she doesn’t mind me picking her up now, she’ll even tell me in her own way.💖
Aren’t you supposed to put a hand under his bun bum so he doesn’t hang onto your arm?
