I thought they didn’t lay on their backs? He’s so chonky that when he flops to go to sleep this is the end result. And he stays like that and sleeps for long periods. I poke him sometimes to make sure he’s ok & he struggles to flip back over. 🤣

    My boy once rolled over on his back with his feet in the air. It was hilarious. I was informed by another Redditor that it’s called a ‘death roll’ (after what alligators do). Apparently it’s a sign that they are very happy and having a very intense nap 🙂

    It means he feels safe in his surroundings. Rabbits don’t sleep like that in the wild because there are always predators. Give yourself a pat on the back, bunmom.
