I’ve been there too. One bun has clear nails and you can see the quick. The other bun has solid brown nails and I’ve made him bleed. I felt so awful.
Don’t worry! Stuff like this is sometimes unavoidable. I’m sure she forgives you! For future reference, kwik stop syptic powder is a lifesaver! If you dont have access to kwik stop, you could use cornstarch or flour to stop the bleeding.
It happens, the bun will be fine
Next time maybe, if you feel like it might happen again, just don’t cut the nails very short, you’d just have to do it more frequently
I just did this the other night. I felt so bad, thankfully my little guy is pretty forgiving!
