Is there hope for my bunny (5m) and my two dogs (8 and 9 years old) to get along? I just got the bunny and the first couple times they were introduced, my dogs went crazy. I immediately separated them (and continue to do that if they act up.) Currently, I’m at the point where my cocker spaniel will stare at him and whine, and occasionally paw at the cage, and his tail wags like crazy. My smaller shi tzu stands cautiously and stares at him and occasionally will growl. My bunny seems mostly unbothered by the dogs and will even go up to the cage, but he occasionally gets frightened. I don’t expect them to become best buddies, I just want to be able to let my dogs in the bedroom while my bunny is in his cage, at the very least.
(Please do not judge me for this post. I have and will not ever leave my bunny unattended with my dogs. I’ve only had my bunny for 1 week and I’m trying to work this out, but I will not force it if it doesn’t work.)

It’s gonna be very hard, dogs are predators(well at least their ancestors… some dogs are very hard to believe they share bloodlines with wolves lol) and bunnies are preys. Cocker spaniel are also specifically hunting dogs, which may make it even harder to learn him the bunny isn’t his meal.
Keep trying, but be extremely careful, it can go bad in a split second
