Just fixing the leg did not work, so we had only two options left. It took a whole week phoning vet hospitals to get a surgeon who is able to repair the leg.
Most others don’t operate rabbits at all, and the only other who would, the surgeon there said, she could not do it – but at least they would have done an amputation.
So, now we have a surgeon who will do this.
But there is a chance that the anesthetic is too much – the surgeon said about 5%-10% propability.
So we hope for the best and fear the worst.
The surgery will be tomorrow, on monday.

I think a 5-10% risk with the anaesthesia is very high, is that vet experienced with rabbits?

Wishing you all the best. The little bun will make it through with flying colors. They are so strong. I’ve learned this from my own buns. My female was spayed, and the surgery went on way too long she was under for a very long time. It was touch and go the first night, and she pulled through. Your little bun will, too!!! I lost my sweet Oliver last Thursday. He went in to have a skin abscess removed, he did not take the anesthesia well and I lost him. He was only 6. I am so broken! 💔💔 Praying for sweet Emma!
