Rescue bunny

We got this bunny last night from an acquaintance ; she’s been living in a small box since she was 2 weeks old ; the box was exactly her size when she arrived in it and smelled really bad….there was also rice , lettuce and carrots in the box. The bunny on the left is her half sister and is only 1_2 weeks older than her (she along with her 4 other siblings have been living with us since they were babies along with their mom ) the right one was taken by someone else and now they wanted to get rid of her…these two are both around 4.5_5 months of age but their size difference is shocking…the new one ( she doesn’t have a name yet ) is extremely malnourished…she’s literally skin and bones and her paws and belly are completely coated in urine…I really can’t imagine the horror she’s been through I hope we can help her get better…i have a question : will she ever catch up in size? Or will she stay like this?

Alphapha hay can be given instead of Timothy hay to help gain weight

You can help her gain weight, but it’s likely she won’t be able to catch up her sister in size. Poor little one. At least she’s got you now.
