Hi there, I’m very new (brand new actually but have cared for rats, hamsters, guinea pigs other rodents and cats before) to bunnies and would love some questions answered to I can give my new friend the best life possible.
A little background on this guy: He was named Mr.Fitz and given as a surrender to my step mother by a friend of a friend. She owns a farm and cares for animals. She is used to outdoor/commercial farm animals, but she tries. After meeting him I fell in love and seeing his set up knew he needed better.
Questions:
What breed is he?
What is the recommended size/set up for a night time cage? A cage recommendation is welcome!
What is the best bedding to use? I’ve seen people say they use pee pads?
What toys to bunnies enjoy?
What height would you recommend the fence for his play area be?
I’d also enjoy name suggestions and any other information you’re willing to share. I want to spoil him.
