Hello! I am at a loss for what to do for my bun while we are on vacation for 8 days.
We have a couple of options.
1. Is a local bun boarding business. The lady seems on top of her stuff, has lots of experience (only takes buns) and cost $35 a day. A 50 minute drive from my house.
2. Word of mouth referal my local shelter, this lady they call their “bunny expert” (she helps the shelter occasionally, gives seminars educating people on how to care for buns.) contacted her and she’s $30 a day, 20 minute drive from my house.
3. Have another word of mouth referral (from the shelter lady) come to my house twice a day for $70. She will give him 2 hours of playtime, feed, etc. plus we will have a camera.
I worry because my boy Thumper doesn’t like car rides and I feel guilty taking him away from home, i feel like hell think I’m abandoning him. But I worry is two hours a day enough supervision? To make sure nothing bad happens.
