Hello everyone! I wanted to ask a question. I recently got a bunny named shadow in April. I have been doing more research and I also took her to my vet. I recently have been upgrading her space and everything. I live with a roommate and in a room. From 9am-10:30pm she is out of the pen but free roams in my room. I put her back in the pen from 10:30pm-2:00am. 2:00am-3:00am she’s out to roam a bit or stretch. I then wake back up at 6:00am and let her out for an hour. I officially wake up at 9:00am and her pen has the door open all day. I provide her with fresh hay, toys, tunnel, hiding spots, etc. lately I’ve been feeling like bed because I hear a lot of bad things about exercise pens. But I have bunny proofed as much as I could but it’s still unsafe and I can’t supervise her at night when I’m sleeping. Am I a bad bun mom? Does the schedule seem acceptable? Here’s her pen I make it bigger at night and add her tunnel. She loves the hamper lol it’s her comfort hamper. There’s another half of the room that’s not in the photo. I also can’t get another bunny because my roommate has 3 cats already and she stays in my room. I was thinking of buying a realistic stuffed animal bunny. She also is still really happy and Binkys a lot. I also work from home full time and spend my time with her. Thank you for your thoughts!
