  1. That’s a chonky boy. You might lessen the pellets dosage. I have a smaller bunny that was deemed a bit fat by my vet at 300g overweight for a total of 1,8kg.

Omg that bby does not need to be free feeding on pellets like that. His poor feet will get so sore.

Bunnies only need about 1/4 a cup of pellets a day, if that. Pellets are actually optional for rabbits. Feeding them too many pellets can be really harmful to their health bc it makes them gain too much weight and eat less hay and veggies, which are both very important parts of their diet. A rabbit’s diet is supposed to be 80% hay since it is full of fiber and keeps their digestive systems moving, and their teeth trimmed, as their teeth are constantly growing. If they don’t eat enough hay, they will eventually develop dental disease and need expensive work done to prevent them from not being able to eat or drink. If your bun has all those pellets available to it 24/7 it’s not going to eat enough hay or veggies because rabbits are naturally included to stick to eating the most hearty and fattening food available to them.

Oh, please do not free feed pellets 🙁 Their diet needs to consist of only a little pellets (generally 1/4 cup a day) and free feeding of alfalfa hay. Your bunny looks overweight and eating pellets only or as majority of their diet will mean tooth growth, constipation (which can actually kill a rabbit) and other health problems
