I put one Rabbit down because she had maggots and it was unlikely that surgery was going to solve the problem. Sad, but decision was easy.
I now have an 8 1/2 year-old Flemish giant. I’ve had him since he was three months old. Eating is fine but he has lost complete use of his hind legs and even one front paw I think. Poor thing tries to move but he can’t and he falls. It breaks my heart.
But then I find him laying side-by-side next to his bonded pair and I think, who am I to put him down.
I’d like to hear how you decided to put your rabbit down and your thought process.
