My two male rabbits (1 year apart in age, both under 3y/o, both are neutered) are fighting. They were bonded previously but after a surgery (neutering) and being separated pre-surgery (due to fights happening when the younger bunny was mounting the older bunny) they continued fighting, so it has been a few months of them being separated. They sit as close as they can together in their respective spaces, they have been right next to each other so they can see/smell each other. They do seek each other out and sniff each other, but when they’re together (without a barrier) they fight. How can I help them bond again and stop fighting?
*also here’s a picture of them from when they were bonded 🙂 (and also the fence was to keep them out of plants and cords).
