Not sure if this counts as a rescue per se but this lil bub (I named him joe hops a lot) was sitting right by the entrance to by building. Took a quick pick and went to ask the grounds guy if he had gloves. Didn’t end up needing them. We have quite a few dogs in our building so it would have been a quick chomp. We think he was startled by the grounds guy (he was weed whacking) and there were some kids playing across the street loudly (it’s ok, they’re kids!). I alerted the grounds dude and we were able to scoot him under a bush (our front area has some little almost islands with shrubs and flowers surrounded by gravel next to the walking area). The grounds person knows he’s there so will be careful. Didn’t see any other little ones by the door. Last I saw he was ‘invisable’ under a small shrub. He looked good, moved fast, didn’t appear to have any injuries. Hopefully I didn’t stress him out too much! I can only imagine the fiasco if he had run into the building.
