hi guys!! just got a bunny recently from my aunt and i ran into a problem, id appreciate it if anyone can give advice or suggestions. for context my aunt got the bunny from downtown los angeles, she doesn’t know the gender but named the bunny oscar. the bunny was meant to be a dwarf bunny but that’s obviously not the case. my aunt had given it vanilla wafers and veggie straws as food for like the last five years that she’s had it. no hate to her she didn’t know, i started putting the bunny on a clean natural diet. oscar eats grass and a handful of veggies.
the reason im saying all of this is because oscar is having digestive trouble. i saw it when i first received him but even with a better diet there is still poop stuck to his bum. i dont want to wash it as i know you’re not supposed to give them baths but its a bit of a problem as it tends to stink up the room when we have him come inside. if anyone has tips or suggestions that would be helpful, i came on here to ask because i dont really have money for a vet and i just wanna know if there’s anyway to fix it on my own.
