My holland lop bunny (approx. 4 yrs old) has had this small patch of oily fur for about 2-3 days now. The fur was clumped together, but I brushed it out yesterday to see if that helped it for some reason. As you can see, all that did is make the spikes smaller.
I’ve tried to take a closer look at the skin, and it doesn’t look red or irritated, but it’s hard to tell since his fur is fairly thick. He did have some bunny dandruff about a month ago down between his shoulder blades, but I don’t think it’s connected to this.
Is this something I should be concerned about? Is there anything I could do to help it out?
