We recently adopted our bunny Hansel and then about a month later adopted a Maine Coon kitten. They seem to be playing together but I’m not certain. The bunny keeps going back for more…always putting his head in position for the cat to attack. The vet warned me about the bunny being scratched on the eyes which is a concern. We are always there ready to intervene. We want them to grow up together and be friends so once the cat is huge it won’t eat the bunny. We have allowed this for now as it seems like the bunny likes it. The bunny also grooms and lays right in front of the cat. Open to constructive thoughts but please be nice.
