My little bun Angel has been making honking noises a lot for about a month now. At first i wasn’t too worried. She does it a lot, if I hold her she honks. When she gets her greens she honks. When she loafs she honks. The honks are usually accompanied with heavy breathing.
I took her to the vet and they suspected she had a respiratory infection, we completed a course of antibiotics and the honks continued.
We took her back to the vets and they said they could hear her breathing from her left lung, but not as much her right & gave her a steroid injection which i have noticed has reduced the amount of honks. She is getting an X-ray tomorrow and i am so worried about my baby. Has anyone any idea what this could be? There has been no change in her eating / pooping habits. She’s a very happy and active rabbit and binkies about a lot.
