So… I’ve owned my rabbit for 4 years. He’s a free roam but I lock him in his play pen at night, and this is a sort of new thing he’s started doing.
Almost every morning now at 5-6AM, I wake up to him chewing up his boxes that are in his pen and it’s honestly the worst noise I’ve ever heard. I literally cannot ignore it🤦♀️. I think it could be because he’s hungry so I end up grabbing a good handful of hay and he immediately starts eating. Once I do that he’s quiet.
The thing is that he DOES have plenty of hay already in his litter box but he won’t eat it if it’s been sitting in there for like 3 hours.
My room gets pretty bright in the morning so I was wondering maybe that’s also it? Is the light making him much more active??. If anyone has any tips, thank you 😭
