After 6 months of scratching/biting each other and having to be in separate enclosures, my two rescue bunnies Zuzu (fluffy) and Patches (black n white), became inseparable. Now, for the past 3+ years, they have snuggled together for hours on end and are almost always on the same half of their enclosure (2 large x pens combined). While iām happy about their strong bond, I have also noticed they have become less active and gained a little weight because of it. They do not want to come out of their pens as much and when I carry them out they just sit in a corner grooming each other. Zuzu is more open to being social and will approach me but Patches is usually shy so, in turn, they both end up hiding away. Any tips to encourage them to be slightly less dependent on each other or at least more active?
