TW pet loss
My best girl sweetie pie Bonnie crossed the rainbow bridge last night and we are devastated. We adopted her when she was 1.5 years old and saw her through some really hard health issues due to megacolon. Several times, during some of the more serious episodes, our vet told us it wasn’t looking good but she’d hang on, fight through, and bounce back. She loved a good ear/neck rub, a nap in the sunshine, and surprisingly, the sound of the vacuum ha! She was stubborn and brave and I hope she knows how loved she was. Trying not to kick ourselves for the could haves and should haves and remember how good of a life we gave her. I hope she’s doing all the binkies and eating all the bananas wherever she is now 💔
Side note, our other rabbit, Reggie, and her were the best of friends and had been bonded for years. Any info or tips on loving and helping him through this big loss for him too are welcome.
