Sorry for my English but it’s not my first language. Also is my first time posting so idk if i did Everything alright. I have a little rabbit of about a year, Pancake, given to me by my mother-in-law from a litter of her rabbits. When she first arrived home, in the first few months she was extremely cuddly, she licked me often and stayed in my arms peacefully. Most of the time we keep her in a suitable cage, since my partner and I work all day and we have three cats at home, but anyway when she is with us I make her turn on the sofa and on the bed, because on the floor she just hides, even if we keep the cats away. Lately she seemed less affectionate, she grunts at me, licks me less and every time she sees me or my partner she kicks her paws. I tried games, cuddling her more, even leaving her alone as soon as she grunted at me, I understand that some rabbits have this behavior but five months ago she seemed like a completely different bunny. Do you have any advice? Games or activities to do with her? It’s strange that even if I try to let her loose in the house and leave the cage open she doesn’t want to run or jump, she stays hidden or inside her kennel?
