Hair not growing

She got spayed beginning of May, and she’s still bald. Normal?

Yes, it’s normal. It can take at least 6 months to grow back fully, depending on the hair growth cycle when it was shaved. It should be pretty even after another few molts.

the rate which fur grows back depends on the breed and when they got shaved/when is their next molt. did she molt recently? it may take more than one molt to fully grow back

It can vary a lot! My first bun didn’t grow fur for months after her spay (sadly she passed from an unrelated illness). My second bun was a rescue spayed not long before I got her. I actually had to confirm with the rescue that she was spayed – you couldn’t tell! Fully furry again! I even have vet records of the surgery.

My bub has both his back legs shaved from his last dental back in April or so and it’s like barely grown any, so when he’s flooped he looks like he has shoes on xD
