So I have 3 rabbits 1 female and male bonded pair and a male by himself.
All is good with my males and they are both potty trained and are around the ages of 1-3. The issue is with my female who is 4 1/2.
When I had originally got her I didn’t know much about bunnies and I waited a long time to get her spayed because of money issues. Long story short over the years I’ve done a lot of research and have done a lot better with my two males.
My issue is that I never got her to be taught how to be litter trained. She is currently in a 6 by 10 foot pen with her bonded friend which is one of my males who is potty trained.
I wanted advice from anyone who might have experience or know what I can do to get her to be potty trained or at least have better potty habits. I plan to make the pen smaller soon temporarily to establish where to go potty. I have moved her litter box wherever she does want to go and I do clean up her accidents with vinegar but I’m not sure if it’s possible to train her because she is getting older and it’s probably just learned habits.
As background info: I have tried many times to get her potty trained but she’s the only one I cannot get her to be.
Extra info: please do not criticize what I have done in the past I have learned a lot about bunny care and she does live a good life I promise!! I just come reaching out for answers just because I do want to see if there is anything that can be done and if not I am still going to love her either way!
Thank you in advance and sorry to write so much!
