Can a rabbit have narcolepsy?

I’m fostering this 3 yr old mini lop from a local rescue. He’s not my first bunny as I foster frequently (and have 3 bunnies of my own) but I’ve never witnessed other rabbits behave this way.

He will go to do something and promptly fall deeply asleep and then wake up seeming surprised. For example: he’ll hop up to his water and lean in to drink and then completely fall asleep (eyes closed, dreaming) and after a few minutes it’s like he got startled awake and he’ll start drinking his water then hop away.

I don’t know if this is cause for concern or if he’s just a sleepy boy..
