Dirty bun, but hey whatever makes him comfy. Oh yeah and the pawfeet are never fully sprawled…

OK, before you judge me, I have my bun in a detached garage. There is a carpeted area as well as a couch and he also has his own X pen which is cleaned every day. But for some reason he likes to find the dingiest corners of my garage. I am constantly sweeping, but it still looks dirty. AnyWho, I have tried to convince him that the couch is all his he can go to the carpeted area or he can even sleep on the foam tile covered area. But for some reason, he likes the dingy cement. Eventually, I will power wash and paint the floor. But for now, I guess I just have to deal with it. This is the only place I can free roam him and keep him in a quiet space that is all for him. I will keep trying to entice him with fancy beds. Lol

What a cute bun! It might be because it’s the coolest area compared to other surfaces.

Configure the x-pen to include a strip of cement floor. My doe likes to sleep on the tiles right next to her rug.

  3. Do you live somewhere it gets hot? The cement floor will be much cooler overall than carpet or a couch.

If it is available in your area, look into specific garage floor coatings. They tend to last a lot longer than regular paint does.

You will need to wash the floor as best you can, either a power washer or a hose nozzle that has a very strong setting.. so maybe see how it looks after that?

Especially if you don’t really have a space for the bunny to be while it cures.
