Emily is a great rabbit as a pet on her own. She’s very people friendly and sweet as a can be. No one ever guess she was a butt scalper 😰 She even went so far as her targets tend to be weaned but still baby rabbits. She scalped Luna’ s bottom and then Stitch’s. All my female rabbits have their tiffs. However none of the rest really harm each other passed some fue flying a little. No scars. Emily pulled out their bottom fur so badly she took skin. More than once. It seems to be her signature move.
We rehomed Emily and adopted this bunny we haven’t named yet. 12 week old mini lop/lion head mix. Emily is fine in a home where she’s not in a group. She’s great just not in a group. She’s always been more aggressive towards the others than the others are to each other. Daphne was similar but my rabbits finally had enough and didn’t let her eat. We brought her in too late. I didn’t want it to be Emily’s fate so this way they can all be happier. They will give this little bun a bit of a hard time but then will get over it. The longer she’s here the more they will bond with her. It’s just a pecking order thing Emily took too far.
