we just moved roughly 2 weeks ago, and he’s started peeing in the middle of his cage on his hay, and outside on the towel under his water bottle. (and on any soft things left on the floor like clothes or blankets)
he’s never been naughty like this before (he’s about 13-14 and has done 2 moves before this). i understand it might be a territorial marking thing. i’ve seen advice for this to keep him contained so he can’t pee in those spots, but his hay and litter are in a plastic cage so i don’t want to lock him in there all day š any ideas on what i can do?
(also i know it’s best for them to have a bowl of water, he used to have one but he liked to rest his face in the water and it would cause his fur to mat and rot at the roots so i had to goober proof him š )
