So long story somewhat short. My boy Bronco is finally at rest, he was diagnosed with a thymoma around last October. He was put on prednisolone and liver support meds and it got us 356 more days with him. He was a trooper and went through multiple extractions of fluid from around his lungs. He never let his cancer stop him from living his bestest last year on earth.
In his last year, he got to try nibbles of freeze dried fruit roll ups, cinnamon roll icing, pop tarts, and many many types of fruits.
I’m sharing this as thanks to those of you that checked in on him after I posted about his diagnosis and also because the world deserves to see him one more time!

I am glad he is at rest. You took incredible care of him! I’m so glad you mentioned the fruit roll ups because I file away this sort of info to pass on to others when they are at a loss for what to tempt a sick bun with. Thank you! The urn is perfect for him. I’m very sorry he is gone, but what a strong spirit to manage all of that. Rest assured he wanted to be with you as much as you wanted to be with him all of the days after the diagnosis. You both are incredible!

I have the same urn and engraved baby boy’s name on it :’) 4 years ago now and I still grieve once in awhile as he’s on my nightstand
But you’ll slowly heal, I promise it’ll get better! You gave him a great life that he can’t thank enough 🙂
