A free range rabbit / free roam rabbit wakes up his owner! The rabbit somehow knows when it’s time to get up, and loves acting as a rabbit alarm clock. The girl is sleeping but the rabbit comes in and wakes up his owner. The rabbit jumps on the bed and wakes up his owner by giving rabbit kisses and rabbit licks. Who doesn’t like a funny animals waking up owners videos / pet waking owner video?
This is Pipkin rabbit’s morning routine. The pet bunny rabbit comes up on the bed to wake up his owner, usually 2 to 3 minutes before her alarm. The rabbit wakes up the girl by hopping over her head, and licking her face. The rabbit also enjoys nuzzling her face.
The rabbit also hops up on the bed at bedtime to say goodnight and give a kiss, before going to bed himself. The girl always goes to sleep before the rabbit, so the rabbit usually comes up on the bed after she is asleep. The rabbit wakes up his owner because he likes to say goodnight to the girl. The rabbit will then try and get a pet – if he sees an exposed hand or even an exposed leg, he will try to nestle underneath it, to simulate petting. The rabbit gets his kiss, says goodnight, and then lays down at the end of the bed, guarding the girl. Waking up his owner, in the morning or at night, is one of the rabbit’s favorite activities. 🙂
The free roam rabbit likes coming up on the bed every morning and every night. The free range bunny will then sometimes leave again and go eat hay. Other times, the rabbit will explore the bed. Other times the rabbit lays down and goes to sleep.
For background, the free range rabbit comes up on the bed every night. If it’s a good night, the rabbit will nuzzle and burrow under his human’s hand or leg, and just go to sleep. Most of the time he won’t even wake her. If it’s a bad night, the rabbit will jump all over the human, begging for food, until she gets up and gives him a snack. By then she is usually quite irritated, so she closes the door to the bedroom so the rabbit cannot immediately run back in and repeat the same process over again as soon as he finishes eating. 🙂 One time the rabbit freaked out in the night, which we also captured on video.
We always get asked if Pipkin is the rabbit in the waking a sleeping rabbit with an air horn video and the waking a sleeping rabbit with a firecracker video. Yes, he is!
