In this video I will go over 2 easy and affordable Easter & Spring DIY’s. In the first DIY, I go over how to make fabric bunnies with no sewing involved. I use a hot glue gun to secure the fabric and stuff using filler from a repurposed pillow. I download a traceable bunny image to trace as my pattern and then I embellish each rabbit using buttons, vintage keys, ribbons and lace. I also show how to make a DIY rosette bow using wired ribbon to make a cute, bunny tail. I make the tail by cutting ribbon ~16″ L, glue one end down, then pull a middle strand from the other end, gathering as you go to make a rosette shape. I also show how to make a trendy “messy bow” using ~10 strips of remnant fabric and ribbons. I demonstrate in DIY #2 how to make fabric carrots by using a pattern I made and can make these cute carrots out of a variety of fabrics such as drop cloth, tea towels, shop towels, buffalo plaid and a fringed scarf. Both of these DIY’s are very affordable and can be made from the fabric of your choice and many of the items to make these can be purchased from Dollar Tree.
