How to make a DIY rabbit cage ~
Welcome bunny gang! In this video we will make a DIY indoor rabbit condo with NIC storage grids. this cage base is 8.1 sqft. I attached this adorable bunny condo to an xpen. You can use it as a second cage, add a ramp to join the condo to your xpen for 1 large space, or it can be a stand alone cage. This rabbit house was low cost & easy to make! I chose a design that does not require the use of power tools. This makes it a project almost anyone can make by themselves.

on this channel we promote minimum cage size standards according to the House Rabbit Society, “one guideline to go by is at least 8 square feet of enclosure space combined with at least at least 24 square feet of exercise space, for 1-2 rabbits, in which the rabbit(s) can run and play at least 5 hours per day.” You should select a cage size based on the size of exercise space & your lifestyle. If you cannot let your bunny out of the enclosure at least 5 hours a day Or have an attached xpen you should make larger housing. This NiC condo has a base of 8.1 square feet.
