Aw, he’s adorable. Looks like a little cowbun! What’s his name?

So, what you’re saying is that he doesn’t mind being stuck between a rock and a hard place?

My bun also rejects soft things. He will eat soft things sometimes, but he does not want to sleep on them. I have a fleece blanket for him and he’ll dig around with it, rearrange it, drag it through his tunnel, and chew the crap out of it but he will never sleep on it. Sleeping is for firm flat surfaces only. He barely even sits on it. He prefers to do his digging and chewing from the edges.

More than likely likes the feel of the cool floor to cool him down a bit.

i can relate with you, my bun does the same thing. preferring to lay and/or sleep on the bare concrete floor.
