I read Rocket as Pocket and I loved Pocket… cuz he’s so pocket sized (squeal). But I do love Rocket too! He’s so sweet omg.
The best way to bond with your new bun is to spend time on the floor with them! Just go lie down on the floor and be on your phone and let the bun come up and sniff you, hop on you, etc. Talk to them while you’re hanging out so they get to know your voice.
Once they’re comfortable with your presence, then you can introduce petting. Start very slowly and let them get used to your hands. Only pet their head at first, then move on to the rest of the body. Eventually get them used to being handled; gently touch their paws, their rump, their sides and their belly and give them a little treat each time so they associate it with positive feedback. This will make clipping their nails and grooming them so much easier when they know that having their feet touched isn’t a bad thing.
I’d personally wait to get to know the baby before I named them, sometimes seeing their personality helps a lot with names! Good luck with your new bun bun!

My bunny is named Bucky. I had named him Markus when I first got him but he never responded to the name. The first time that I called him Bucky, he stopped and looked at me. So his name is Bucky. He will be one year old tomorrow 🐰🙂👀
