Way back in 2005, I drew a version of this cartoon with the original “pet” being a dapper bulldog. Of course, I had to redraw the cartoon replacing the dog with a bunny. The interesting story behind this cartoon is that they were both drawn at my great aunt’s place 18 years apart.
