Brushing Tips?

My rabbit HATES to be brushed! He is shedding so much right now…. He HATES the brush. He HATE the glove. I have tried rewarding him with treats but he has gotten too smart and he is on to me…. I pet him A LOT but it is just not enough to get all the hair. Do you have a trick I can try?

One hand to distract with pets.
The other hand to pluck loose fur.
It’s time consuming but easier for a fussy bun

I have a fuzzy lop who also HATES grooming time, but needs it daily.

Instead of chasing her around and stressing her out more. I bought a plastic bin from Walmart with high sides. I put her in there and brush her, using the lid if she tries to escape. I don’t trap her in there, but I use the lid to keep her from jumping out until we’re done.

Afterwards, I giver her a treat, which I make her take from my hand. This helps keep our bond. She was really skiddish afterwards at first, but now she’s gotten a lot better. She still hates the process, but she’s basically back to normal once it’s over now.
