Rabbits can get poopy butt for many reasons. As a rabbit owner it’s definitely good to have some shears handy for when this happens if it’s a rare occurrence.

However, you also need to make sure that your bun is properly cleaning her bum and eating their cecotropes.

I would say for the community to help you need to do 2 things, with bringing them to a vet being the first course of action most of us would recommend if you’re very worried.

    1. Post in r/rabbits as it is a significantly larger community so you’re likely to get more and better quality responses (no offense r/bunnies lol)
    2. Post all the details about your rabbit itself. i.e age, how long you’ve owned them, when the problem arose, if it’s happened before, what their diet is, any changes that may have occurred recently, etc. Remembering that more details are the best details.

Good luck to both of you!
