Advice for giving antibiotic tablets?

My little bun Minnie got an abscess drained at the vet today, and she now has to take antibiotic tablets orally for a couple days. Unfortunately, Minnie is a painfully picky eater and is refusing to eat the tablets even smooshed into banana. She is incredibly petty and would gladly go on a hunger strike in protest of the medicine. Any advice is GREATLY appreciated!

Honestly, go back to the vet and ask to get it compounded into a sweet-tasting oral solution. I can’t imagine having to convince a rabbit to eat bad tasting pills crushed in banana every day. If you’re already almost done with the script though, try using a syringe after mixing the crushed pills in some juice or other vegan baby food.

I’ve never heard of giving bun tablets. I gave my bun antibiotic injections and probiotics after few hours. Maybe call the vet and ask if they can give you liquid antibiotics or injectable ones. Because tablets sound like a really bad idea. If they say no, then I would call another vet and ask for their opinion.
